If you are not able to join us in person in Sydney for this July’s International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare, why not take part online?

We are offering online access to a selection of the conference programme, streamed live directly from the venue in Sydney, so you can add your voice to the discussion of how to tackle the important post-pandemic challenges ahead of us.

Why join online?

Our online package will include access to 12 sessions including all 6 keynotes delivered straight from the main stage. These sessions will be available for you to join live or to watch on demand on our online platform for up to 6 months after the conference.

Attending online will also allow you to:

• Send comments and questions in real-time during the sessions
• Access all ePosters, and connect with the presenters about their work
• Connect with other virtual delegates joining from around the world
• View and connect with the International Forum sponsors and supporters

09:00-10:30 | K2: Different approaches to Covid- 19: What have we learned so far, and what’s next? (includes opening announcements from 09:00)

The opening keynote of the International Forum in Sydney will bring together perspectives from different states and countries on the management of the covid-19 pandemic. Read the full session details.

15:00-16:00 | C1: Are consumers the chief improvement change agents? A debate.

This session will ask a provocative question of our audience and a panel of consumers, clinicians and researchers who will debate for and against the motion. The question we propose is: are consumers the chief improvement change agents? Read the full session details.

In this keynote, hear from Derek Feeley, Former CEO and President, Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI); Scotland

Tuesday 26 July

09:30-10:30 | K4: Mary Freer – [re]Building with Compassion

In this keynote, hear from Mary Freer from Compassion Revolution in Australia.

Over many years, Mary contributed to Australia’s national health and social care reform agenda through her work with state and commonwealth agencies. She has held executive leadership positions with national government, not for profit health care and social welfare services and in 2014 she founded Change Day Australia. 13:15-14:30 | E1:What is the future of safety and quality assessment?

This panel session will consider disruptions to the ‘compliance model’, the development of risk-based approaches and the implications for health service assessments. Read the full session details.

In our closing keynote, hear from Donald M. Berwick, President Emeritus and Senior Fellow, Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI); USA. Read the full session details.

All the below prices are per delegate and are not inclusive of VAT as this is based on country of residence and will be added automatically during the registration journey as such:

• VAT for attendees in the UK is 20%
• VAT for attendees in the EU (excluding UK), AUS and IND who are NOT VAT registered is 20%
• VAT for attendees in the EU (excluding UK), AUS and IND who ARE VAT registered is 0%
• VAT for attendees different from the above is 20%.

When registering, select to register as a delegate and enter your full address on the booking details page as this will be used to verify your registration. The discounted rate will be automatically applied when you choose a country listed as LMC or LIC on the World Bank country classification list.

**Students in full-time education can apply for a student rate by sending either a copy of their student card that clearly displays the date of validity in numerical form; or an official letter issued by the Dean of their university confirming they will be in full-time education at the time of the conference (24-26 July 2022).
