I’m the Event Manager for the International Forum and I joined BMJ in 2009. I am responsible for the logistics, management, and delivery of the event. This year our focus will be building on what we learned about virtual events in 2020. I am looking forward to a return to face-to-face events in the future and returning to Gothenburg in 2022.
Senior Conference Producer
I’m Kyle Rolph and I am the Senior Conference Producer for the International Forum. I joined the BMJ in 2012 and my role is to work closely with our audience, speakers, and Programme Advisory committees to create an exciting and relevant programme for the event.
Head of Events
I have been at BMJ for ten years and led the Events Team since 2017 as Head of Events. I support the team with our growth, development and delivery and work closely with our partners and supporters.
Associate Head of Events
I rejoined BMJ in February 2020, having previously worked with the Events team in 2014/15, supporting the growth and development of the International Forum in Europe and its launch in Asia and Australia.
I have enjoyed meeting former and new contacts on these very special events and helping the team plan to deliver a great experience for delegates, partners, sponsors and exhibitors. It is a challenging time, while we work out how to continue to deliver content, partnerships and networking, while keeping our delegates and clients safe in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the first instance, this involves working to deliver virtual events, while planning for what these events will look like in a post COVID world. I look forward to connecting with you in the near future, either virtually or face-to-face.
Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
I work closely with our Partners and supporters ensuring that they and their colleagues find the International Forums fulfilling, valuable (and fun!) virtual events.
Associate Marketing Manager, Events
I am the marketing lead for the International Forum and I have been at BMJ since 2011.
My first International Forum was in London, back in 2013, but the first one I actually worked on was in Paris the following year. I lead on all marketing communications and brand development.
Head of Sponsorship
I manage the commercial relationships at the Forum. My main role is to ensure that the BMJ expands its sponsorship portfolio: working with clients closely to fulfill their sales and marketing objectives, including content creation, brand awareness, facilitating connections and thought leadership sessions.
Event Sales Manager
I joined BMJ three years ago as Event Sales Manager, responsible for managing commercial revenue delivery on the Forum portfolio of events. My main role is to drive sponsorship and exhibition sales revenues across all our Forums.
At our virtual International Forums, I am hoping to prove ROI to all our sponsors and exhibitors by showing them how to achieve their marketing goals in our virtual venue. I want to ensure that they all have a great virtual experience, where they can show off their products, warm up leads, and deepen relationships with clients.
Sponsorship & Exhibition Marketing Manager
I work collaboratively across our sales and events team to help bring together our sponsors, exhibitors and advertisers to help influence and connect with healthcare professionals in a digital environment. I’ve been working at BMJ for 20 years, and I‘ve had the pleasure to attend many of our fantastic events. I have met many delegates and participants from all over the world, heard some inspiring keynotes and seen first-hand the amazing work achieved at ground level in hospitals with improving patient experience and outcomes.
I have been at BMJ for 3 years and I manage the exhibition and sponsorship logistics across all the events in our portfolio. I work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure we fulfil our sponsors’ objectives. I’m looking forward to supporting our sponsors as our events start to take a more virtual approach and to help them find new opportunities.
Senior Event Coordinator
I’m Hannah Westwood and responsible for the logistics, management, and delivery of the Asia Pacific International Forums. I joined BMJ in 2015 and my role is to work closely with virtual platforms, venues, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver the Forum.
I’ve been at BMJ for three years, working on multiple events across the BMJ’s portfolio.
This year, I’ll be managing registration which involves responding to attendees’ queries and managing the online registration journey for our virtual events.
I’m looking forward to the challenges that a virtual event this size brings, and working with a great team to deliver the virtual International Forums.
Junior Conference Producer
I am Mark Lenner, and I have been working at BMJ for over one year. During this time I have gained experience in numerous flagship events such as BMJ Live and Leaders in Healthcare.
Senior Event Coordinator
I joined BMJ five years ago and, in that time, have been lucky enough to travel around Europe and the Asia Pacific to work at previous International Forums. Pivoting events to a virtual format brings about new challenges. In 2021, I look forward to welcoming attendees from all corners of the world online and supporting the team in various ways to deliver a successful portfolio of events.
