About our social event
Join us for an evening of entertainment at this year’s International Forum Social event!
After two years of connecting remotely, we are excited to bring you the opportunity to relax, unwind and catch up with colleagues old and new whilst experiencing the best of Swedish culture.
Following our on-site Welcome reception, you will be transported from the Gothenburg Convention Centre to the Kooperativet, a converted shipyard and event space, where you can enjoy performances from an ABBA tribute band and taste a variety of street food.
This social event is being hosted in partnership with Region Jönköping, Region Kronoberg and Region Västra Götaland. Thank you to our partners for making this opportunity possible.

Tickets: These are priced at £25 per person (exclusive of 25% Swedish VAT) and include:
- Return coaches to the Gothenburg Convention Centre
- Wide variety of street food including midsummer flavours
- A welcome drink upon arrival and two further drink tokens
- ABBA tribute performance and disco
Transport: Coaches to the Kooperativet will depart from Entrance 8, Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre from 18:30 on Tuesday 21 June. Please meet at the Enquiries Desk at 18:30 to board the coach. Further information will be sent closer to the event.
Attendees can either choose to arrange their own return travel or join one of our coaches scheduled for 22:00 and 23:00. Please collect your ticket from the Enquiries desk on the Congress Foyer to secure your entry to the coaches.
Note: Please note that after you have used your drinks tokens which can be used on wine, beer or soft drinks, the venue (Kooperativet) will be operating a cashless system and only accept card payments for any further orders at the bar.
